Olive tapenade

Olive tapenade is one of those easy, throw together spreads that lasts forever and goes with everything. This is my super simple recipe that needs only 5 ingredients and is the perfect little dip to start an evening off.

Ingredients

150g black olives, pitted
150 green olives, pitted
Juice from half a lemon
110ml extra virgin olive oil
2 large cloves of garlic crushed

Method

1. Chuck all the ingredients together in a food processor and pulse until relatively smooth. You still want to be able to see bits of olive.
2. Season with salt and pepper
3. Serve on some melba toast like this or with some crisps.
